A timeline overview of the UDO for the City of Jacksonville

May 8, 2007 Growth Management Plan Adopted by City Council identifying the need to create a Unified Development Ordinance
Winter 2007 thru spring 2008
Clarion Associates Kickoff meeting with City Council, Planning Advisory Board, City Staff, and Stakeholders.
Spring 2008
Diagnosis Annotated Outline (DAO) - Clarion Associates Reviewed meeting notes, ordinances and other documents and prepared an outline for the project.
Summer/Fall 2008
 The first third of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) was drafted, reviewed by City staff, revised, reviewed by the UDO Steering Committee and revised again.
Summer 2008 through Fall 2009
 The second third of the UDO was drafted, reviewed by City staff, revised, reviewed by the UDO Steering Committee and revised again.
Summer 2009 to present
The third and final module of the UDO was drafted, reviewed by City staff, revised, reviewed by the UDO Steering Committee and revised again.
