Jacksonville Police Services Accreditation
Jacksonville Police Services is an Accredited Law Enforcement Agency and is ranked ninth in North Carolina and 192nd nationally.

Public Safety Director and Police Chief Michael Yaniero works with officers and staff to attain and sustain national accreditation through CALEA - The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. Criteria to attain this accreditation can be found at the CALEA website.

Annual Reports

Jacksonville Police Services is a modern law enforcement agency committed to creative problem solving. Currently 150 strong, Police Services is composed of two major divisions of assignment; Investigative / Support Services and Patrol / Field Operations. The organizational structure provides a full range of law enforcement services and protection for Jacksonville residents and visitors.

Police Services publishes an Annual Report highlighting programs and services, yearly achievements, emergency calls, crime, and other statistics. Also included in the Annual Report is an overview of the department.
