City of Jacksonville, Draft 2018-2019 Annual Action Plan 
Community Development Block Grant Program 
Available for Public Review, May 16, 2018-June 19, 2018

Citizens of Jacksonville are hereby notified that the Community Development Division has completed a draft of the Annual Action Plan for FY 2018-2019, consistent with requirements of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The Annual Action Plan contains the City’s plan for utilization of its annual allocation of funds to be received from HUD in FY2018-2019.

    It is estimated that in FY 2018-2019 the City will receive $365,203 in entitlement funding and approximately $177,473 in program income for a total of $542,676 to be used for eligible programs to include: Clearance and Demolition, Nonprofit Funding, Residential Rehabilitation, Acquisition, Public Infrastructure Improvements, Park Improvements and Program Administration.  

    The Annual Action Plan draft is available for public review and comment, from May 16, 2018 through June 19, 2018, during normal business hours, at the Community Development Division, City Hall, 815 New Bridge Street. The draft plan is also available online at  All comments will be addressed.

    A Public Hearing on this plan will also be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 7PM during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting at City Hall.
