Traffic Advisory: Downtown Sewer and Street Work to Close Lanes for Two Weeks

Warlick_College_TrafficControl.png
Starting Wednesday, April 11, 2018, a contractor will be performing two sanitary sewer service repairs on College Street at the Warlick Street intersection. Following these two repairs, the contractor will mobilize on New Bridge Street at the intersection of Huerth Street to complete a sewer main point repair. Once both repairs are complete, the contractor will resurface both of the trenches with asphalt pavement.

During work operations, lane closures will be in place to direct traffic around the construction areas. Traffic will be reduced to one lane of travel on College Street with flaggers in place to direct traffic. The two west bound lanes on New Bridge Street will be reduced to one lane.

Motorists are advised to avoid the Heurth Street and New Bridge Street intersection and College Street and Warlick Street intersection during this time.

The projects are expected to take two weeks to complete.
