The City will host the 12th annual Run For The Warriors 5K, 10K, and half-marathon in the Northwoods area this Saturday, May 20. You may have a front yard view of the run as it will meander through Northwoods, Gum Branch and a small portion of the Elizabeth Lake area.

To help ensure the safety of the participants, some lanes of traffic may be closed from 6AM to around noon. You and guests can come and go from your home, but you are asked to use caution and watch for the participants in the event. Lanes will reopen as soon as possible after the participants complete the course.

A map of route is available here

If you have any questions or issues, call the Run for the Warriors Community Information Line at 910 381-8272. You are invited to come out and cheer on the runners or attend the start and finish at Jacksonville High School.
