[ARCHIVED] NCDOT to Hold Public Meeting Thursday, December 8
Transportation officials will hold an open house on Thursday, December 8 to review proposed plans for improving Hwy 258 between Pony Farm Road and Hwy 53/Burgaw Highway in Jacksonville. The goal is to reduce congestion and improve traffic flow in that area.Proposed Design Concepts for Hwy 258
The public is invited to speak with NCDOT and the Jacksonville Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (JUMPO) staff at the Onslow County Government Complex at 234 Northwestern Corridor Boulevard in Jacksonville on Thursday from 5-7PM.
Citizens are encouraged to stop by and ask questions or provide comments during that time. All comments regarding the project must be received no later than Friday, December 23.
Interested citizens can view maps and design concepts at the meeting or online at ncdot.gov/projects/publicmeetings
NCDOT will provide auxiliary aids and services under the Americans with Disabilities Act for disabled persons who want to participate in this meeting.
