This weekend construction crews will be repairing City sewer lines with cured-in-place pipes along Pinecrest Drive, Northwoods Drive and Sharon Way. There may be intermittent lane closures or slight traffic delays during the daylight hours on Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5.
Once the work is completed this weekend, construction crews will work in the overnight hours on Monday, June 6 and Tuesday, June 7 to repair sewer lines along McDaniel Drive.
The advantage of using cured-in-place pipe is that this type of sewer repair does not require any excavation of the road surface. Repairing sewer lines is necessary to prevent excess water from entering the City’s wastewater collection system through cracks or leaky pipe joints.
