Jacksonville Police caution motorists that traffic on Western Boulevard will be impacted in the morning hours on Saturday, November 6, 2015 by the annual Veteran’s Parade.
Western Boulevard will be closed to vehicular traffic from University Drive (CCCC) to NC 24 (Lejeune Boulevard) from 9:00 AM until the conclusion of the parade at approximately 12 Noon.
Motorists should plan accordingly for the expected delays and traffic congestion that will occur on side streets and parking areas during the duration of the event.
“Vehicular and pedestrian traffic is expected to be heavy. We ask everyone in the area to pay attention and proceed with caution” stated Traffic Supervisor Lieutenant Sean Magill.
