City of Jacksonville Winter Storm Closings & Changes
City Offices Closed for Friday, Limited Services due to Predicted Winter Storm
Due to the upcoming inclement weather all City of Jacksonville Offices will be closed Friday, January 21, 2022.
City Services Updates for Friday, January 21:
Jacksonville Public Safety will be on full staff to respond to emergencies. Director of Public Safety, Chief Mike Yaniero urges Citizens to stay off the roadways, if at all possible, when icy conditions occur.
Jacksonville Sanitation will run normally as weather permits. Please get your container to the curb early for pick up.
Jacksonville Public Services utilities crews including Water and Sewer, and Streets will be on the job to assure that services will be uninterrupted and to address any issues that arise due to the storm.
Jacksonville Transit will not operate on Friday, January 21 due to inclement weather conditions. Transit will reevaluate conditions on Saturday, by 10AM and restart service as weather permits. Check the Transloc App and the City Facebook page for updates.
All Recreation facilities will be closed on Friday, January 21. All programs and activities are also cancelled for Friday.
