Commons Park & Ride

A Park & Ride facility allows commuters and others to leave their vehicle and transfer to a bus or carpool for the remainder of their trip. 

The Commons Park & Ride serves as a central parking facility conveniently located near the Jacksonville Commons Recreation Complex, at 100 Recreation Loop. This Park & Ride lot allows quick and easy access to businesses along Western Boulevard. Commuters can board a Jacksonville Transit bus and ride the transit system to various points of interest throughout the City to include the Jacksonville Mall, Coastal Carolina Community College, Marine Corps Bases, movie theaters, restaurants, shopping plazas and residential communities. Park and Ride, Jacksonville Commons

  • Parking is free

Use of the Park & Ride lot is encouraged to reduce traffic congestion throughout the City.

Additionally, the Park & Ride lot can be used as a park and walk option. Citizens are encouraged to park at the Park & Ride lot to access public amenities within close proximity as well as access businesses along Western Boulevard.
