Sturgeon City is home to water quality and environmental restoration projects that helped bring back life to Wilson Bay and parts of the New River. The future Sturgeon City Environmental Education Center, under construction in 2018, will be home to learning opportunities that supplement the past and current efforts to restore Wilson Bay, the New River, and our coastal wetlands.
The Sturgeon City nonprofit already holds educational programs on and off site throughout the school year and summer months. The Center will add approximately 7,000 square feet of programming space, helping the organization to expand programs and reach even more students and others.
Rent the Building
Additionally, the building will be available for rental for civic functions, where it will be able to seat 400+ in banquet style and more than 750 for stand up receptions and events.
