Caring for our Senior Citizens

The CARE Program allows senior citizens and others to register for an automated call from the Department of Public Safety to check on their welfare. Subscribers may direct the frequency, days of week, and time of days for the calls. Should the subscriber not respond to their call, a telecommunicator will follow up and will send an officer to check on the subscriber.

To subscribe:

Option 1: Printable forms: (disregard "Interviewer's Signature" and "Jacksonville Public Safety Witness" lines if you are filling out yourself). You can print this PDF yourself, fill out, and mail or return in person to 200 Marine Blvd., Jacksonville, NC 28540. You can also print, fill out, scan and e-mail to Dispatch@jacksonvillenc.gov. If you would like assistance, you can request an officer come to your home to help you fill out this paperwork by calling 910-455-4000.
