Riverwalk Crossing Park

We’re not cancelling, we’ve rescheduled this family fun event! National Night Out is America’s night out against crime and is usually held annually on the first Tuesday of August at Riverwalk Crossing Park in downtown Jacksonville. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this event has been rescheduled for Tuesday, October 6. The City of Jacksonville, along with community partners, hosts this exciting annual event to celebrate community and to promote crime prevention. More than 12,000 citizens attend each year. Jacksonville’s NNO is Free and Open to the Public.

Jacksonville’s NNO event won the NC Association of Festivals and Events, Event of the Year Award a few years ago and organizers are working to make this year’s event even better! Jacksonville’s National Night Out is open to the public. Admission, parking and shuttle service are free. Shuttle service is provided by Jacksonville Transit.

Help Make These Events Great

Vendors - A limited number of vendor spaces are available for food vendors, commercial businesses, and non-profit groups/agencies. Jacksonville’s National Night Out is an annual police-community partnership event with a goal to raise awareness on the following topics: Public Safety, Crime Prevention, Health, Education and Youth Programs. Therefore, it will be a mandatory requirement for all vendors (with the exception of food vendors) to indicate on the application how they will promote one of these topics.
