Jacksonville Fire and Emergency Services provides fire protection through four stations strategically located throughout the City, serving the City and the City's ETJ
Fire Station 1 - located in downtown Jacksonville at 200 Marine Boulevard Station 1 is also the home to the Center for Public Safety. The Center for Public Safety was built in 2014 and is the main headquarters for Jacksonville Fire and Emergency Services and Jacksonville Police Department. Fire Administration, Fire Prevention, Safety and Standards are located at Station 1. Station 1 is home base for Engine 1, Rescue 1, Battalion 1, Reserve Engine 7 and Boats 1 to 3.
Fire Station 2 - located at 1800 Gum Branch Road, across from Jacksonville High School. This building finished construction in early 2015 and is equipped with state of the art technology to help firefighters provide quality service to citizens. Station 2 is home base to Engine 2, Squad 2, Utility 1 and the Rehab Trailer.
Fire Station 3 - located at 190 Huff Drive in the Brynn Marr neighborhood of the City. This station was built in 1985 and has recently undergone kitchen renovations. Fire Station 3 also houses Jacksonville Fire and Emergency Services Maintenance Division. Station 3 is home base to Engine 3, a Ladder Truck, Squad 3, Reserve Engine 6 and the USAR Trailer.
Fire Station 4 - located at 100 Firehouse Drive at the Jacksonville Commons neighborhood. The station is next door to the Onslow County Emergency Services building. The station was built in 1999 and has recently undergone kitchen, sleeping and office renovations. The building currently also houses the Onslow County Emergency Medical Services which has two ambulances responding from this location. Station 4 is home base to Quint 4, Squad 4 and the HazMat Trailer.
